Working Principle
During operation, the double-cone barrel rotates at a constant speed driven by the motor. The alumina grinding balls inside rise with the barrel and then fall freely due to gravity, generating impact force on the tencha raw material. Meanwhile, continuous rolling friction occurs between the balls and between the balls and the barrel wall. Under the dual action of impact and friction, tea cells are fully broken down and gradually ground into uniform ultra-fine matcha powder.
The double-cone design ensures materials continuously converge toward the center and spread outward, forming an efficient three-dimensional circulation. This eliminates “dead zones” common in ordinary cylindrical ball mills, ensuring uniform fineness for every batch.
